Dr. Tan Yi Kai

Dr Tan Yi Kai graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S.).

He began his career at Bedok Polyclinic, where he provided primary dental care and served as Dental Officer-in-Charge, overseeing clinical operations, manpower management, and audits. He subsequently joined Health Promotion Board (HPB), providing dental care to children through the Mobile School Dental Service and conducting dental screenings for kindergarten and special needs students.

Dr Tan later joined National Dental Centre Singapore (NDCS), where he gained extensive experience in Geriatric and Special Needs, Orthodontics, and Paediatric Dentistry, as well as managing patients with complex medical and dental needs. He also attended emergency calls at the Accident & Emergency (A&E) departments of Singapore General Hospital (SGH), Changi General Hospital (CGH), and Sengkang General Hospital (SKH), gaining valuable experience in managing dental trauma and emergency cases.

He has a special interest in wisdom tooth surgery and dental implants. Committed to lifelong learning, Dr Tan regularly attends continuing education courses and even travelled to Brazil to participate in the Implant Marathon, further honing his surgical skills in implant dentistry.

With a calm demeanour and steady hands, Dr Tan is dedicated to providing holistic, patient-centred care and ensuring a positive dental experience for every patient.
